| To build a 1500 sq ft house, it would
take roughly 10, 000 board feet of lumber. That quantity of |
| Lumber could be obtained from either
of the following tree dimensions: 2 trees, (76 ft high and |
| 51 in wide), 24 trees, (35 ft high and
17 in wide), or 100 small trees, 20 ft and 8 in wide). We estimate |
| that it would take 110 years to grow 2
large trees, 34 years to grow 24 medium trees, and 17 years |
| to grow 100 small trees. A significant
contribution, to our environment and world ecology, can be |
| made by replacing flooring that is
made with wood products, with the natural and beautiful |
| flooring that Panda Lumber has to
offer. |

| |
| We applaud the natural environmentally
friendly quality of Bamboo and feel that it is important to maintain |
| this standard throughout the
manufacturing process. It is for this reason that we have chosen to finish
our |
| Bamboo flooring using the Klumpp
Coating Process. This process, (Super Aluminum Oxide) is |
| recognized in our industry as a
benchmark for excellence and allows Panda Lumber to use materials |
| that compliment the natural ability of
Bamboo in regard to the environment. |
